Is the BMW widgets database down again? Have the clock going on 4 days now. tried to reload weather multiple times but say's "no connection" then goes to the clock

here is called connected drive... its a 3G/4G cellular chip that gives the car internet so you can use apps like yelp, pandora etc from the idrve

oh right... but not on start up right? I know how to get to the weather etc. But have to go through online services every single time.

No, it will come at startup.... you don't have to do anything, right side will stay fixed while you can use left side of the screen for navigation, radio etc...





if you scroll down there is one line that says bmw online or widget, you click there and choose your startup widget once and it will always show up all the time on the right screen

same issue here, seems to happen pretty often.

I usually keep the time and weather but it defaults to the analog clock when not working.

This has been bugging me. It's nice to know what's going on.

Strange that I can still see weather if I go in through BMW Online, just not in split screen.

I think it is great that it has been down so much this year......it must not be that important or very complicated to maintain. At least my car runs good

Yeah, that part is easy. I just don't have all the options in that menu. It's weird.

I have the same issue... I cannot modify the split screen option as the menu does not show up... There must be a reset button at least to reboot the system.
