Would you mind sharing some of them? I definitely want to keep EDC, but my goal is to get rid of some of the body roll and crashyness of the car.

You could do sport springs, sway bars(if anyone makes any for the xi) and control arm bushings(again, limited on the xi).

Sway bars and front camber plates along w/ a track-oriented alignment would make a huge difference and spare you lowering the car at all and risking shock life.

So far this is what I have come up with

Brakes: EBC Yellow Stuff + Motul 600 (do we need stainless steel brakes lines or master brake cylinder brace? again coming from the Subie world)

Suspension: F + R Sway Bars, sway bar end links, M3/M4 LCA, KW Coilover Kit V1 with EDC

Does anyone know if strut bars are available for the m240i?
I think I remember you on NASIOC? Remember bellipotens??

Sorry for the thread hijack....tomorrow I will put on the MSS sport springs....

It's been so long since I've been on NASIOC sorry man I don't remember. Definitely interested to hear your opinions on the MSS springs.

Put the MSS sport springs on HP Autosport today and I couldn't be happier. I wasn't looking to drop the car much so we went 1/4" rear and 1/2" front (drop) I think? Been a long day...lol

The ride is firm but not really harsh at all. They provide new and shorter bump stops . Cornering is much improved and the freeway in comfort mode is also nice.

A really well designed package kit for about $750.00 us dollars..

Assuming a Spring /stop kit only ? No new dampers ? If you have any links, that would be appreciated.

You are correct. I bought direct from MSS but I think the exchange rate changed over the last few months between the time I got the quote and when I just recently just ordered...Never the less really worth it!!

Sorry for the slow response. It feels great on long trips on the freeway and in the tight roads in the mountains.

On big g-outs in hits harder than the marshmellowy stock suspension but is better in virtually every situation except the big hits. It seems like a very well engineered kit and ride height is very adjustable.

I highly recommend this...

Yea so I ended up having a terrible experience getting the MSS springs ordered through xlr8 performance and ended up getting kw DDC coilovers instead.

I emailed xlr8 to confirm I would be ordering the v2 springs (the v1s were on sale, but I opted to pay full price for the v2). Well, they sent me v1, then held on to my money for a month while they said the v2s were on their way. A month later they offered to get them ordered for me after I finally reached out to their boss. They pointed the finger at MSS for production issues, but they deff have some internal problems going on as well. So buyer beware, there if you're not looking to sit around waiting for these. Pretty happy with the KW DDCs, obviously they're a lot more money.

Planning on getting the mss springs too. Do they really make a big difference? Car corner with less body roll? Steering feel any heavier?

You feel the stock struts and shocks have enough damping in all modes or you run in sport plus? Want to make sure dampers handle springs with no problem or should i upgrade shocks at the same time.

I'm wondering if they would be a good substitute for upgraded sways. Cost too much for install of sway bars.

I agree with all your points and thats why I went MSS springs. They work great! Improves handling quite a bit. I think you will like. Also prevents "floating" at higher speeds +80 mph

Appreciate it. You notice the car when stock steering is too light, sensitive or twitchy at low speeds?

Still deciding on pulling the trigger on these for my M240i. I'm on stock dampers. Do you think the MSS springs are much stiffer than stock? The stock rear springs are stiff from factory which I like. But, the front springs are way too soft. I'm hoping the front MSS springs are much stiffer. Rear can be stiffer too.

I'm wondering if dampers will wear out faster and should replace at the same time. Only 29k miles on them though. Still feel new.
