Msport brake upgrade for 228i

hi,

I am looking to do an M sport brake upgrade on my 228i. I have read that they are direct fit but was wondering if I can essentially pair the blue calipers with this brake package from turner: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...337a/?pdk=AgEB

would these two be all I need to make the upgrade? thanks in advance

Call Turner. I think they'll tell you that both the front and rear rotors are different diameters and that their "Complete Front & Rear Brake Package" isn't a fit for the blue M Sport calipers.

I used http://realoem.com to research what the different brake packages were and what is required for each package.
The standard rotor sizes (non-sport or non-performance) for the 228 or 230 are listed as 312x24 at front and 300x20 at rear.
When upgrading too either M Sport or M Performance, both use the same front and rear protection/backing plates.
The major differences between the M Sport and the M Performance is the front rotor diameters - 340x30 (MS) vs. 370x30 (MP) and the calipers. The M Performance calipers have longer mounting tabs to clear the 370mm dia. rotors.
To use the M Performance brake system the minimum wheel diameter, in most cases will be 18" dia. For the M Sport brakes you may need to verify if you have 17 inch dia. wheels.
Hope this is all correct (if not let me know) and hope this helps.

Upgrading to M Sport brakes use this page for part numbers - for 340x30 front and 345x24 rotors;
