Can the blades only be installed so far out from the skirt itself? Or do you have some wiggle room to extend the blades out a little if need be?

I ordered mine today and am trying to get an idea of what to expect

Technically, you could position them a tiny bit further out but I believe the ends, which are narrower, will be less supported and not look as nicely integrated. When you get them in hand and hold them up it will become clear.

I agree with Neo, just dryfit the blade to the skirt. It will become apparent how you will need to position the blade.. There is wiggle room but the blade only wants to sit in a particular position. Its not too difficult just wait until you have the blades in hand to dry fit

Okay,so basically like the performance rear lip spoiler: it doesn't set in a particular way but it's apparently on how it's supposed to be positioned.

Thanks guys!

I had them put in yesterday. The look is subtle but pulls things together for those who like a slight aggressiveness to their rides. I don't have the black decal. My car has a small M Performance decal (came with Msport) towards the rear of the side skirts. So when you are close enough to read the decal the added dimension from the skirt becomes apparent. I think it looks wide and mean now.

Here I tried to capture the depth of the blade toward the center of the car and how I dry fit the blade.

This was the final process where the tape was peeled slightly and cleaned with 3m softer before final attachment.
