17/9/ et30 with 245/40/17

Found a good deal on wheels + tires but can't find much about fitting a 30 offset on the 2er. This setup would be square. I have an m235i rwd. Any advice would be great!

IMO that tire size and wheel offset will put the front tire into the fender (rubbing). You want about 40mm offset for a 245 front.

You can always put 225 on the fronts and save the 245s you took off for the rear?
