M235i clutch upgrade

Hello, looking to do a clutch upgrade for a 2016 M235i. I currently have FBO on stage 2 bm3. Clutch starting to slip on 78k miles. I’m looking at a DKM Twin Disc Clutch www.ecstuning.com/b-dkm-parts/organic-twin-w-gear-driven-hub/ms-006-076~dkm/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIt_bwqJHs_gIVpQetBh3__wygEAQYByA BEgITvvD_BwE
I have been searching around and heard that the 550i is a bit stronger than m235i OEM clutch with a OEM pedal feel. It seems like they are both around the same price. Had anyone ran these clutches? If so please send up the exact part numbers for 550i clutch and flywheel.

The 550 clutch will do you just fine and probably be less money. That twin disk seems like a bit overkill unless you plan on doing a crazy hp big turbo build.. Otherwise, 550 is a more logical choice. You can add a steel single mass flywheel too. My friend did that exact combo and chatter was minimal and it drove great.

Hey man, I ran into the same slipping issue running stage 2 FBO custom tune on full e85. Unfortunately stock clutch can’t hold the power for long. I matched the 550i clutch with a Spec single mass flywheel and it ran greatly with no slip. Only ran it for another 5k miles before selling my car, but people have run this setup with 600-700whp with no issues. Chatter was tolerable for me. If you have windows down with some light music on you won’t hear a thing. Windows up/down with nothing playing then yeah you’ll hear some chatter. If you push the clutch in it goes away. Clutch kit came out to like $350 and i believe the flywheel was $700-750. This combo is a lot cheaper than other alternatives. Here’s the link to the 550i clutch kit below and 6 new flywheel bolts you’ll need.

Some people mentioned needing a different alignment tool but the one in the kit worked fine for me.

Oem single mass flywheel? Do you know the part number that will work with the 550 clutch? What year model will work?
