Wow can't wait to get mine, I'm getting a Glacier Silver one with coral red interior. I also have the alcantara steering wheel and dash with the carbon fiber shift knob. Also my side panels are carbon fiber too. Sick ride though hope you have lots of fun with it

Is it just me or does this look a lot better than the M2?

I'm really tempted to get a used 2015 M235i 6MT, Mineral Grey on Red, add a few Performance Parts and the wheels, instead of paying full for a new M2. You can't even choose the interior color on the M2.... so sad.

I originally wanted the M2, but got a lightly used 2014 from BMW instead which saved me about 15k-20k. (if you get a pre-owned 2015 or above, the free maintenance service is not transferable) . This leaves me plenty of room for looks, suspension and performance upgrades. Sure the vin won't contain an S after the first two letters, and the value will drop faster and lower than the M2, but you will be quicker than a stock M2 and have it just the way you want it to look for less money than buying new stock.


I have nothing against the M2 and like it, but for an average guy...financially it made more sense getting a lightly used M235i.


Anyway the one thing the M2 has is the rear end!! That is the only thing about my M235i i least like. I am adding CF Spoiler and Diffuser to make it slightly better and aggressive.

That is the best looking M235i that I have seen. I think that mineral gray is the best color for an M235. The wheels are incredible. I can't find them on the BMW site (Build your own). Are they available in the US?

Those wheels are under the "Accessories" category, under the "Shopping Tools" menu on the bmwusa.com site. I am actually looking to get them as well. I think, however, you can only get the wheel+tire package, and they are run-flats (according to the site).

I am debating whether or not to get them for my car, currently in production (Estoril Blue).

These pics are almost enough to make me want to change the color of my car - fourth gray car in a row or not. (I really didn't need to see these pics! HA!)

So today I purchased this M235i Track Edition. I traded my 2007 e90 335i in for this beast. Needless to say I am EXTREMELY excited! I have always wanted to own another sport coupe since I went from an R32 GTR into my e90. There was an m235i coming in (not Track Edition) that had less packages than this one and it was a new 2016 model. However with BMW's financing right now, 2015 have a better rate and this beast came to be the same price.

This car has EVERYTHING. The Track Edition parts are still coming in which is fine. Missing parts include - Steering wheel, an LSD, rear carbon spoiler and carbon fibre exhaust tips. I have a professional DSLR with some great lenses so I will post some really HD photos once I have this beast in my hands, but I'm just ecstatic so iPhone photos will have to do for now.

Did I make the right choice?

there are some different parts i guess. you know why?
They came with the steering wheel with the display intergraded for example
