Today I bought Fabspeed Motorsport 's sport cat and muffler bypass. Was an unplanned splurge, but Bobby@FS hooked me up. Can't wait

Washed it last night at 10pm because I had to leave pretty early for the cars and coffee event.

Added Race fuel and mixed with 93 to get 4 gallons of 100. Set the car to Map 7 and ran 4 pulls against my friend's 2015 E63 S with a Renntech tune.

Results:

20-90ish - E63 ahead by 4 lengths
40-100ish - same
60-120 - E63 was in wrong gear, M235i ahead by 5-6 lengths, E63 started catching up around 110
5-90 - E63 ahead by 5+ lengths while M235i struggled to find traction

M235i is FBO running 100 octane on Map 7. E63 S is AWD with Renntech tune and stock otherwise.

Uncovered it and drove it home from my sister-in-law's garage, where it's been in winter storage since Jan 1. Love having it back home again! :-)

Of course rainy and filthy but today I +1'd the wheels on my 228i to 18x8 TSW Nurburgring's in bronze with Michelin PSS tires in 225/40-18. The car is painted in sparkling brown metallic which looks black whenever the sun is hidden.

I got them from eBay. I think they are the same / similar to the ones that ECS carries.

Yesterday (yes, I am cheating), I had my BimmerTech rear backup camera installed professionally. I had to go to two different places and then get their most experienced installer who had installed the BimmerTech in one other car. It went fairly smoothly, but when it was all hooked up, he got no video whatsoever on the nav. screen, even for the radio. So he called BimmerTech (fortunately, they have a U.S. number even though they are a foreign company) and the owner of BimmerTech, Patryk, was able to quickly solve the issue and all is working just fine now. I really do love the rear camera and it is almost essential since I had the dark window tint installed. I highly recommend the BimmerTech camera, but it is a bit tricky if you are planning on installing it yourself.

Replaced the chrome "M235i" badge with the gloss black badging. Thanks to Ryan@IND! Really stands out on Alpine white. Very clean look.
