CIC or NBT
Hi everyone,
Browsing some pages on the internet, I’m having a difficult time to figure out which idrive version I have in my car, as I want to order a new head unit that supports CarPlay It’s a 2014 BMW 2 series f22. Attaching some pictures if it helps. Thank you so much in advance! |

Go to www.realoem.com and enter the last 7 characters of your car's VIN. Hit enter and bookmark. Scroll down to audio, nav, electronic systems to get the part #. Then google the part.

For the 2 series, I believe it should be NBT ...my 2015 228i had NBT (and wikipedia says the same for 2013-2015 f22)

Thanks!
In that case is it NBT? Right now I'm looking at 2 products and still not sure which one will fit my car. Still trying to avoid dissembling the front of the car just to look for a sticker. Isn't there an easier way? |

It is a Basic Media 2 HU. CIC and NBT are Navigation HU.

Just go to bimmertech's site and google it...they have the list in a blog of what it would be.
