Thank you, sir! I buy from a reputable dealer in my town, and I know he can get VMR so I'm looking at the V803 and 804 models, just gotta decide which one.

Someone told me BMW changed the bolt pattern on the 2 series but from what I can find, it's 5x120 just like the other series. Is that correct?

Bolt pattern is still 5x120, but the bolt size changed from earlier BMWs like the E82 135i which were M12x1.5, to M14x1.25.

Correct. They are changing with the Gxx series cars to 5x112 but that doesn't effect us here yet.

Hi,

So i got new wheels and their specs:

18 x 8 + 45 (Front)
18 x 9 +50 (Rear)

and i'm wondering if these tires would clear the suspension and avoid any rubbing;

Front; 235/40/18
Rear;255/35/18

Thanks

You shouldn't have any issues with those specs.

It's still 5x120 for the F2x cars as far as I'm aware.

No more BMW wheels on Commodores and vice versa.

Will make it easier for the VAG bros though.

By the way, what do you guys do about the tire pressure sensors? I've heard that the car will refuse to enter sport mode if it thinks the tire pressure is all screwed up, I'm guessing some of you have dealt with this in one way or another?

Buy the correct TPMS and install them when you get your tires put on.

I bought a set of wheels from VMR and they sent me the correct sensors. No issues.

But yes, under a certain psi, 27 or 25psi, the car will warn you and won't allow you to enter sport mode.

I'm looking into getting a square setup with 18x8 rims and 235/40/18's all around. I have the m sport suspension. Any advise on what the best offset would be?

We recommend 18x8 ET42 for a square setup! Here are some pictures of an F22 running these specs with a 225/40/18 front and 245/35/18 rear tire setup. I'd imagine that a 235/40/18 square setup would be no problem at all! The full album can be seen here!

I have a chance to pick up a set of V710's brand new for a really good price.

The offset though is not what is usually recommended here, so I am wanting to know if somoene can help explain if these would be a complete no go or what the difference would be for them.

They are

18 x 9.5 with a 33 offset
18 x 8.5 with a 35 offset

What do you think?

8.5's are fine with an ET35 if you are going with 225's. 9.5's are going to be pokey at ET33.

No rolling of fenders. Very minor rub only when they are had 4 adults in it or when the trunk was very heavily loaded (like when I moved houses and had the trunk and back seat piled high). Otherwise no issues.

As mentioned the 8.5 ET35 front will be no problem. The rear, however, is going to be very aggressive at ET33. Imagine adding a 12mm spacer to the fitment on the car below. It will most definitely rub and require modification of the fenders.

Love these wheels too much not to post this. 17' M240 x-drive, 19x8.5 225 in the front, 19x9.5 255 rear on eibach springs, also ditched the run flats. Handling is night and day over the stock square setup.

Any plans to make the V804 in a gunmetal/anthracite finish? Particularly interested in the 18x8 size.

Thanks, I'll skip them then and save up for 19's like I really want...

If anyone has a 3 series in the DFW area and is interested they can be had for about $700 for all 4 wheels.

At this time, there are no plans to offer a Gunmetal V804. However, we do offer custom finishes or you can have them powder coated by a local shop.
