Sport Mode Exhaust Gurgle
Is the M235i the only car with the 'off gas' gurgle in Sport mode? I'm curious as I've never heard any other BMW that does this. I have the M Performance exhaust and it really is quite a sound (if your into that kinda shite).

If you think the M235i has a good off throttle sound you should really go and listen to the new Jaguar F Type. That is truly the best overrun sound of any car on the market and has become their distinctive trademark sound now. Interesting too, local dealers are leasing the V6 F Type for not a lot much more than what I paid for my fully loaded M235i. When will the car power wars lately ever end. Not to soon for me, that is for sure!

The stocker exhaust does not possess this....guess I gonna have to get the performance set up. This is the only thing I think the car is missing other then 19in wheels

Yes it does. Mine has the "stocker" exhaust and I have gurgles/pops in comfort(barely) and always in Sport/+.

Going down the ramps of my work garage and letting off the gas produces burble sounds all the way down in my 335is and it's a 2012.
I will reserve judgement until I hear the MP exhaust in person, but I preferred the 335is exhaust to the Performance exhaust on the e92 and to the stock exhaust on the M235i. |
