So I just Google'd the phrase and several different ways I might add. I didn't find anything that supports your theory on it being a saying. I did however remember a little trick that our minds sometimes play on us with regards to memory. Our minds are very good at formulating memories, just not very good at deciphering when they actually happened. Deja Vu can be explained in this way. I have a feeling that's what happened to you with this particular phrase. You have probably actually never seen it before but something struck your mind in such a way that the actual memory was perceived to happen some time ago and not in the present. It seems very real to you because of the memory mix up but in reality it is not.

Would you like the blue pill or the red pill Neo?
