Swap in 19" wheels at time of purchase?

Has anyone swapped out the 18s to OEM 19" rims at time of purchase? Ie either getting credit from the dealer for the 18" original wheels or from BMW?

Just wondering if there is any other option if you want 19" wheels, other than obviously ordering 18s and selling them yourself.

You can order the M Performance 19" Style 405M Complete Wheel Set
or
BMW M Performance 19" Style 624M Complete Wheel Set
Be prepared to add $4200.00 to your price tag.

2 series have a different offset than every other bmw, so they can't just swap wheels at the dealer.

Yes but then I am still stuck with selling the 18s that come with. I thought there might be a way around that. Thanks.

Check the tyres that you get with the 19" options in your market. Here in Australia they fit RFTs on the 19". We only get MPSS on the 18" M235i as we don't have AS or Winter tyres here.

The US is the same. The 19 M Performance wheels come with run flats.

The OEM 19s are junk, especially for the price. They look nice, but have the same crappy 7.5" and 8" width as the 18s, and are fitted with run flat Pirelli. They're a foolish purchase if you care about your wallet and not ruining your car's performance. Go aftermarket and use your 18s for winter.

I'm actually looking aftermarket for 19s as well. The latest Bimmer mag (May 2016) has an article from Dinan on the S3 package for the M235. For a little over $10k, not my style, but I found their wheel package interesting. They are 19 / 265 rear and 19 / 235 up front. Most recommendations I have found on the rear are 255/19 due to possible rubbing or not clearing the M brakes. Since the M2 rears are 265/19, I'm still looking for the actual size and offset of the Dinan wheels - to find a same size alternative for summer fun!
