Stoptech 340mm slotted rotors
Stoptech slotted rottors -- 340x30mm for the front blue MSport calipers on the M240 (also, for the F30/F32). I really like these rotors. Maybe I'm imagining things, but the combination of them + the Pagid RSL29 has the most gradual release I've tried. Makes trailbraking a breeze. Part #s: 34116792223.SLL, 34116792223.SLR. $100 + shipping (probably ~$30 overnight) Had them on for 3 track days. Note the tiny surface cracks -- these develop after even a single track session and are harmless. With my driving style, I'd normally get 10+ track days from a set. |

Are these for the M brakes or no? Based on this Bimmerworld listing, they are not. & Stoptech site almost always uses different part numbers.
"M235i/335i/435i Rotor Confusion: BMW had multiple rotor options with similar names. This 340mm disc fits stock, Sport trim, Modern trim, Luxury trim, and the M Sport accessory package (option code (P337A). It does not fit the M Sport brake upgrade with blue calipers which could be added to any trim package (option code S2NHA)." https://www.bimmerworld.com/Brakes/B...35i-435iX.html |

Sigh, BW is not helping the confusion here. Here's their longer and better explainer [1].
These are 340mm for the blue brembo calipers that are standard on the M235/M240. For 228/230/240, the option that gave you the same blue calipers and 340 rotors was called "M Sport". On 2014-2015 M235, "M sport" meant a BBK with 370mm rotors. On all other models that same 370 BBK is called "M Performance". Good job naming things BMW. Also keep in mind the M235i caliper, M sport/performance 335/340 and M3/M4 calipers are all technically the same 4 piston caliper, its just that the mounting point is different. So if you wanted the Blue brake upgrade for an M235i without getting the full kit, you could get the ones off of an M3/4 or Blue calipers off of a 335/340.
