i think only difficulty is getting E-Sys Launcher PRO from TokenMaster, as he is unavailable for extended periods of time. As an alternative to Launcher PRO, you can use E-SysX: Info@esysx.com http://esysx.com/ As for a VM, you cannot run Launcher or E-SysX in a VM.

Now, here's what I've done: I have created a VM, that has its time set to June 2019, with a version of Windows that came out on May 2019. In that I have installed TokenMaster Pro. The machine doesn't sync it's time, meaning if I shut it down and the machine thinks it is June 5th 2019, 8pm and I boot it up 3 days later it is June 5th 2019, 8:03pm. The time moves, forward, but only when the machine is booted. I have set the SMBIOS.reflectHost to FALSE in VMWare to make sure that TokenMaster can't detect that we are running on a VM. I will do a full write-up on this later this week. This works with E-Sys 2.27.1 RC and the latest data. The NCD tool is flaky though, it seems to have issues with the latest data, and there is no workaround. Now, reason why I am doing this is as follows: 1) can I generate an NCD with an FA, SVT and data for an ECU without the car? 2) can I compare an NCD with another one, to see the impact of an VO? |

pikcachu do you know if you can code the 2er to use mobile sim internet via bluetooth instead of the BMW sim card in the car? I saw this suggested in another BMW forum.

E-sys and PSdZData software
To all you coding gurus:
I'm just about ready to code for the first time! I got my cable, readied my laptop, and visited the Bimmerfest "Coding: (No Request) Latest Software Links" page. The E-sys suite downloaded sucessfully, extracted files and created the directory tree. I then downloaded PSdZData ok but when I went to extract the files, 7-Zip threw up a "Unsupported command" error, stating the path ok but showing a filename different from the one downloaded. It has a ".7z" extension. 7-Zip stops here. So I went skimming around all 2 thousand posts to this thread and find out the newest E-sys is version 3.28, not 3.27.1 on the link. And I find PSdZData_Lite_v4.21.32 is not the latest either. Does anyone know what's going on here? Anyone know where I can get the latest and greatest? Thanks... |

If car has factory Alarm System (DWA), yes, its codeable.

I īve tried it, but no bip when I close the car.
If I code : Akkustische Quittierung Entschaerfen = aktiv I have 2 bips when I open the car. If I code too : Akkustische Quittierung Schaerfen = aktiv I have 3 bips when I open the car. |

Hi my friend,
i reinstall my windows 10 backup to a new SSD on my DELL Laptop, reinstall Esys etc... but same thing, i have the infinite progress bar.... So i decided to create a dual boot with a Windows7,install Esys etc... and.... Bingo !! the coding is now OK !! I think it's because the update 2004 has installed on the WIN10. But now i have a good solution, if i want to code, i boot on WIN7 and i boot on Win10 for personnal usage. Thank you for your help shawnsheridan Last edited by corby59; 12-21-2020 at 11:45 AM.. |
