Anybody else down for a meet on Sep 7th or 8th? We can even cruise to or from other large meets like Cars and Cantina (The Colony) or Italian Car Fest (Grapevine) or Fueled Up (The Colony).

I haven't gone to a car meet in so long, lol. I guess we can meet somewhere before Cars and Cantina real quick and roll together to it. Any ideas on when and where?

I guess it starts at 10? So maybe meet around 9:15-30ish (hopefully parking is better than C&C was at classic). I'm in northeast Richardson off PGBT, but I'm happy to meet in Addison or somewhere more central for everyone to link up and drive there.

Can anyone recommend a good shop to install customer purchased parts in Dallas, TX?
I called Matthew @ Cedar Performance today and he was a great guy, but did not install customer supplied parts due to warranty and profit margin issues, etc.. I have gotten the car, 2016 M235i xDrive 8AT, serviced at JP Euro after I bought it and they did a decent job, but I found it was a little hard to communicate with those guys and Jason prefers broken up text messages, etc.. I have some specific requests I'd like to tell the mechanics for the install and I want to make sure my message gets across accurately. IE: directional O-Ring on the charge pipe caution, changing the transfer case oil and why, etc.. Appreciate the help. I couldn't make a new thread because my account is so new. |

To follow up on my above message - I called Ultimate Bimmer Service in Carrollton and left a message on their machine. They should get back to me soon. Any details on those guys would be appreciated as well.

I've used ultimate bimmer service for several things, including installing a fabspeed DP, so they'll work with your own parts and by far are cheaper than anyone else in/around dallas (I've tried at least 3 other places that work on bmws).
