no spacers needed? tempting to pick a setup. and soo much space in those parking garages. I miss socal. parking here is like squeezing into a spot meant for a motorcycle.

No spacers, but you do need camber -- I have Ground Control plates in the front. My setup is F 2.25, R 1.65 (could use some more, maybe 1.8), and 1/16 toe in.

Thanks for posting more. Really looks
good. Might just need a little drop. Is there a reason u went with the square set up? I saw the staggered set has a real high offset on the rears. |

Pleased with my Enkei Raijin which were discussed earlier in the thread - low weight (20.0lbs) and pretty good price.
This is what the 18x8 look like in Hyper Silver. Wearing Michelin winter tires PA4 staggered - but with 245/40 in the back. |

What about VMR VB3 CSL reps in the following sizes? Would they fit ok without rubbing? I'm not lowered.
F: 19x8.5 40mm offset 225/35/19 R: 19x9.5 45mm offset 255/30/19 |

The rear might run into some problems with rubbing but I really can't say for sure. I know Apex wheels recommended a 58 offset with their 9.5" wheels for the back of the car. Fronts should work no problem.

Thanks all for the info, I appreciate it. I ran this setup up on my 135i and had pretty major rubbing in the rear so I had to roll the fenders. I don't really want to deal with all that again so maybe I should go with a 245 tire in the rear. It will be super stretched but then I shouldn't have any rubbing issues right?

I'm running Yokohama S Drives but you could also use Hankook v12 in a 255 with out problems. From what I've read, only one person had rubbing running a 255 and he had Pilot Super Sports, which run really wide. But there's been others w/ Pilot Super Sports that didn't.
Before summer, I'm going to switch to the PSS since its a much better tire and worth the risk. BTW, my wheels came from my old 1 series. The front and rear rubbed slightly but no problems w/ the 2 series. Just switched out the TPMS |
