Now this has me questioning my 135is that is on the boat over right now. I have some serious thinking to do. The looks are gorgeous.

If this has proper BMW driving dynamics, it may be my next car.

Coming from a 135i owner, I'm sure the 135is is going to be a blast to drive, as I love driving my 135i, puts a grin on my face every time I get in and do some spirited driving |

That said, you'll have the better driving feel still. Depends if you want performance numbers or feel. Though if that were the case, I'd have got a used E46 M3.

Probably.. but it'll be tough to tell without the legendary steering feedback. Handling and steering are pretty tightly linked in a BMW.

How would it roast an 1M? I mean, numbers might be close, but I think the 1M would still have an edge over the M235i. Now the M2 might be a different story....

Do we know how this compares size wise to the current gen 1 series?
The proportions look so much better than the 1, so I'm wondering if it has a longer wheelbase. Can't wait to see the M2.

Design is fantastic, BUT BMW, please stop putting ///M badges on non-M cars. It's getting tacky!

Now that is how the 4 series should have looked, instead of the angular look. That said, maybe that's why they designed the 2er like this. Keeping an older design style but also allowing some amount of change. I love the look of this!

Didn't anyone else notice that for the U.S. Market it appears that both the 228i and the M235i are only coming in xDrive (AWD) and only coming with the 8spd Auto?
I'd rather have a 6MT and RWD, unless of course they are saving those things for the ///M2.

That list only tells us what models will exist, but there may more.
