I've recently enabled the coding for digital speed display in instrument screen. After enabling the instrument screens reset and cleared the date and time.
I have also changed the startup animation for idrive to the M type. After doing this my radio favorites were cleared. Is this normal behavior after coding? Thanks |

For idrive, you can save profile to flash drive before coding head-unit and restore afterwards to avoid needing to re-program. |

Coded a bunch of stuff on my car. Thanks pikcachu and others who contributed.
In pikcachu's coding sheet, the engine temperature display (BC_MOTORTEMP_ENABLE) is noted as not working ("no" under "Working?" column). I'm able to see a display for engine temperature (see attached pic). Is it something else that we expect to see (maybe not as a grade, but in numbers Fahrenheit or Celsius)? |

Fitted some LED reverse lights to my car that are supposedly "CANBUS" friendly, but of course they still kick up a bulb-out error
Had a brief look through the F22 Coding Cheat Sheet and didn't spot anything to disable voltage monitoring for that particular bulb. Any ideas where and what I need to change? Ideally I'd like to get of not just the error, but also the inevitable flickering that accompanies these bulbs. Last edited by Acheron83; 12-08-2016 at 11:19 AM.. |

See page 72 post 1574 in this thread. You'll need to change REM/3061/RFS |

There is nothing on the PDF of cheat codes. Does anyone have the cheat sheet?
Got it

So BC_MOTORTEMP_ENABLE is not working at all? This is to bad - was planing to have this coded as well .
My car has the adaptive sport steering, is it possible to have the more direct steering also in comfort mode (as it is in sport mode)? Does someone know if the xenon ballast can be replaced with a non BMW one without causing a check control error? There are 3 pins next to the 12/GND connection, are they connected to anything? Is it possible to change the speeds for city/highway light? Furthermore I would like to have the high-beam assistant to be active on default and decrease the threshold by 5 km/h. |

If you replace bulbs for non-OEM, you want to switch coding to correct voltage and disable warm/ cold checks. It is possible to change HBA parameters. It is only possible to have it active by default in F10 & F25 with FRM module. |
