I am not sure which KOMBI you have (CAFD_00000069, CAFD_00000760, CAFD_000009C8), but both listings are found in all three. Use search rather function rather than manually scanning.

I'm also searching to see if there is something to override the proximity setting to allow me to drop my top from a distance rather than having to be right next to the vehicle. |

Is there a reason why the coding for turning off the bulb check at start up when switching bulbs to LED's on the car isn't on the list?
From my understanding these items each need to be coded for both leftside and rightside. SL_2 BL BFD NSL RFS FRA_H FRA_V And for each of items above (both leftside and rightside), three items need to be changed to the following correct? xxx_x_x_KALTUEBERWACHUNG - set to nicht_aktiv xxx_x_x_WARMUEBERWACHUNG - set to nicht_aktiv xxx_x_x_IS_LED set to aktiv Is there anything else I'm missing? What about ECU and Module #'s? In my research I didn't really find a clear explanation on where to find either ECU or Module #'s. I believe the ECU's are FEM and the others are REM? Can someone clarify this part for me and let me know where I can find each? Also what about the Module #'s for each? I've coded all the other usual items using the cheat sheet to my car in the past without any problems, so I'm familiar with coding. I just don't really know if the above information is correct for the bulb check. I plan on changing my bulbs (3 taillight bulbs, Reverse Lights, Rear Turn Signals and Front Turn Signals) to LED's soon, so I want to be sure I know what to code in order to avoid the bulb check that goes off every 30 seconds or so. |

Thanks for the quick reply pikcachu. Is there any that I am missing for the lights I plan on changing? I just want to be sure I have everything covered. I will keep doing my research to figure out which one is in which. Just want to be sure I'm not missing anything obvious. Thanks! |

SL is supposed to be Schlusslicht (rear light, the 2 for the "inner part" normally)
NSL is NebelSchlussLeuchte (rear fog light) RFS is RückFahrScheinwerfer (backing up light) FRA is FahrRichtungsAnzeiger v=vorne h=hinten (indicator v=front, h=rear) the others I don't know right now I think there should also be SL_1 for the outer part of the light, shouldnt it?

I asked this in another section but haven't gotten a response. Hopefully there will be more traffic here:
Is there a way to code the car such that the 12v socket turns off immediately or at least shorter than the default time it takes for the socket to turn off? I have a phone that I leave in the pocket in front of the cup holders constantly plugged in right now that is set to go into airplane mode and display off when no power is detected. Problem is, when the car is off but power is still on, the phone stays awake and you can see the screen on from outside the car. I want to minimize that as much as possible. |

So I finally got around to coding my lights. Thanks pikcachu and pousa13 for your info. It helped greatly.
For anyone interested in coding your lights after you change them to LED's here is what you need to code in order to stop the light check aka light flickering. Keep in mind I only changed the front turn signals, the rear turn signals, reverse lights, and all the brake lights. Oh and my car is a 15 M235i. Front Turn Signals FEM BODY/3061/FRA_V Both left and rightside each indicated with an L or a R. So for example to do the left side it would be FRA_V_L and the right would be FRA_V_R. For each you need to code the following to to the values in bold. The xxx's would be replaced by whichever light you're doing whether it be FRA_V_R or FRA_V_L. xxx_x_x_KALTUEBERWACHUNG - set to nicht_aktiv xxx_x_x_WARMUEBERWACHUNG - set to nicht_aktiv xxx_x_x_IS_LED set to aktiv All the others are below. You do the same procedure as above for each light and for each side Left and Right. REM/3061/SL_2 REM/3061/BL REM/3061/BFD REM/3061/NSL REM/3061/RFS REM/3061/FRA_H The front turn signals are the only ones found in the FEM BODY/3061. The rest are in REM/3061. |

Folks, Found the EBA for MP suspension install here and it confirms that MP suspension for adaptive does exist and that VDC needs to be coded. Document is from 2012 but it indicates to code the car with ISTA/P (Program+code). Would be interesting to know what option code this retrofit coding needs to be added on to, so that it can be enabled more easily with esys on top of ISTA/P....... Anybody ?? BP

I am not sure if 2VF is inclusive of ZP5 or not. My gut tells me it is.

ZP5 is just for Ordering / EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) for knowing which Part Numbers are needed for car with M-Sport Suspension. It is not for coding, which is why document explains that "This retrofit does not require coding", unless you have 2VF Adaptive Suspension. In case of 2VF, you should just need to VO Code VDC Module with original FA after installation of M-Sport Suspension to reset VDC Module.

Shawn, Above is scree dump of VDC ecu and there is a setting for the M_competition/High - that might be the answer and/or the Adapt_M_FW. I haven't changed any setting yet so can't report any changes. Thoughts ? BP

I also think it is what I wrote above. Just VO Code VDC with original FA. I don't think any FDL Code changes are needed.
