The exterior color is spot on. That third interior pic has the brown color I was thinking of. However, I think BMW does the Cohiba color better.
Here is a picture of a 650i Gran Coupe interior, in Cohiba. I really like the two-tone. I think doing the full interior in brown is just a bit too much. In any case, I'd still take it. |

Porsche is known for their gray leathers interior; personally I like it the most, together with the black one, or the two tone one on the first interior pic here.

I think the gray here is rather austere. Too much so, even for a Porsche. However, these renderings never actually do an interior justice. I'd have to go to the Porsche dealer to really see what they look like.

So 53550 + NYS tax 4685 = 58235 for a no option car. So I will also be looking at M135i coupe (usa) new Audi TT Mk 3 C7 vette (early pics do not look good) and a CPO 2013 Cayman |

Okay; you guys tend to demand cars with rocket grade engines; such European cars tend to be expensive, since Europeans have completely different habits (like a 520-diesel as the most beloved model). As a result, powerful cars are made as a statement and that is expensive (in EU). With Audi, Mercedes and BMW you get much more car for your money as compared to Porsche. Porsche is brand; like Apple. If you consider C7, you might look at Alfa Romeo 4C. |

^ you are correct C7 and the C4 are on the low scale of quality. The difference is the C7 would be cheap to repair compared to the euro models.
So 1. BMW M135i coupe 2. Audi MK 3 3. CPO 2013 Cayman (doubtful) http://www.audiblog.nl/wp-content/Afbeelding-14.jpg |

The Audi TT (2014) should be comparable to this Porsche Cayman and cheaper.
The BMW 1 Coupe looks like a "2 door sedan"; I'd prefer a 3-series with a smaller engine. |

Well, if you want a go-kart then the Alfa Romeo 4C; the weight is going to be almost half the 3 series Coupe (some 850kg), RWD, 235HP, engine above the rear wheels,... sales begin in June 2013 (some 10.000€ cheaper then Porsche Cayman; the price should be in the same range as Audi TT or Mercedes SLK).
10.000€ is 13.000$ |

The TT is just a wrong car. It is based on a Golf, it will drive as a Golf. It has no real Quattro. Now if it was the Quattro Concept it would be another thing.
I really can't afford anything at the moment anymore, but in the next two years it will be one among this list: Alfa Romeo 4C (Quadrifoglio Verde?) Audi R5 (if it still comes, with 2.5l I5) BMW F22 (M?) Porsche 981C (R?) Toyota/Subaru ZN6/ZC6 (TRD/STI?) Very different cars, that aim at the same goal in their own way. Also would consider the NSXII, but depends on price. |

Off topic can anyone post the Top Gear best sports car M135i vs Boxster S. I know the M135i won, but would love to read the article and it is not online. Thanks |

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned previously but I noticed in looking at the spy pictures that in the few where they're driving the car off the truck, the left side exhaust appears to be open and venting exhaust fumes. On the N54 and I believe the N55 engines in the 3er, that doesn't happen. In other words, when I start my car in the morning and the car is just idling, exhaust fumes only exit on the right side because the valve on the left side is closed.
Wonder if this means that the valve on the 2er is not there. Frankly, I think it's stupid that the exhaust even has a valve that actually breaks. (I know because my left muffler has been replaced.) Why not just let the exhaust fumes exit both sides evenly? Hopefully, these pictures will show that the valves are gone for good.
