Hello it is necessary to remove the metal rod under the leather which is surrounded in red to be able to position the seat correctly towards the back |

Dear david51 . I just send you a PM about how to install fully electronic M4 seats to my M2 with manual seats (however with electronic lumbar support and heating). I would really appreciate if you could help me out. I don't know anyone how has so much knowledge in this area as you do. Great work!

Hello!
I actually came across your name on a different page that led me here. I was looking at changing out my screen for the 8.8" and saw you posted a photo with some sort of felt behind covering up the space behind the F33 screen? Curious if you have more of an explanation of how you did that and what you used? Love the build on the 235! |

Hi!!
I’m new here and hope you’re still on the forum. I’m buying a set of M4 seats which are heated and fully electric. My M140i ha standard and manual seats, will they plug and play anyway if I don’t wire and code them? I don’t need the heat function and will adjust the position manually before fitting them. So I’ll only need to have the airbags working. Thank you very much Quote:

Hello if your M4 seats are electric you are obliged to supply and code otherwise they will not work. |

Very nice!
I love the M4 style lip spoiler. Where did you get it? I'm new to the forum...Trying to post pics but it tells me the page is not responding after I upload them. Any suggestions? Maybe it's the 24hr. wait when you're new. |

Hi David, thanks for the great thread! Could you explain more what is required for the two side pieces? Want to make sure I understand correctly before I attempt. Is it 1. Remove F82 leather from foam, 2. Remove F22 leather from foam, 3. Apply F82 leather to F22 foam?
I have fitted everything else - here is where I'm at: Many thanks! |

Hello, cool you can try to do as you say I kept the original side sides of the F82 if I remember I had modified just the top part by twisting the small metal bar inside but I have no more pictures |

Thanks David. I much prefer your option than removing the leather! I have just a few more questions I will PM you - hope that is ok - thanks again!

Hi how did you manage to get the rear seats to fit right? I removed the rear facing metal bar. But I could not get the clips on the knee area to clip in so the seat is just hanging off and bouncing at the knee area. Do you have any advice on how to get the seats to fit |
