How did my brothers and sisters from up north order the mid-pipe? Before placing the order, it says they only ship to the billing address of the card used. I always had orders shipped to an address just south of the border for pick up.

Also, is it confirmed that there is no free shipping being offered anymore?

Fixed! Got it to cleared 1/8". Not hitting cross membrane now. Thanks for the guideline!

Finally i installed the midpipe properly. I followed the recommendation to turn the back section counter-clockwise and the tips ended up perfectly aligned.

I recommend this mod a lot. Great sound and clean install.

Don't get the 1 series in the states so have never tested it as such. Given its a different chassis with different dimensions though I would have to believe its probably different.

Finally got mine installed today!
Tailpipes are straight.
Quiet and civilized in Comfort mode and lots of beautiful sounds, pops and gurgles in Sport mode!
This is how it should have come from the factory.
LOVE IT!

Well, I just installed mine on the 140i (F20) and I can assure you guys that it fits and sits perfectly. I even used the same install steps booklet intended for the F22/23.

Couldn't agree more about that. Even though the F20 is a bit louder from factory, adding the Dinan midpipe really brings exhaust notes from the I6 that were missing with the original configuration. Cold start is really loud, but after ten seconds or so the car gets a bit more civilized.

Probably the best price/smiles ratio on any product available for our cars. Absolutely worth it.

Hello! I was wondering if anyone found out if this was compatible with the mpe? I remember when I installed my MPE it did not slide over the stock pipe and I used to clamp to clamp them both together. Thanks!

It's not comptible with the MPE. An exhaust shop should make some mods to it in order to fit....

While I have enjoyed the sounds of Dinan's midpipe on my M240, those first 10-15 seconds have proved too much for my wife. For those of you with leased vehicles or some other reason to revert back to the stock pipe, it's very doable. It takes some patience getting the midpipe off because the clamps compressed the slide-over fitting during installation - they are quite snug even with the clamps removed. I opted for the pricey but very well made 80mm coupler from ECS Tuning on the muffler end: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...h/18307560815/

That said, it appears the price of the coupler has increased almost $30 since I purchased it!

Shipping is free if the total for the order is over $500 (before tax). Feel free to contact your area sales guy at 1-800-341-5480 x2105 and see if he can waive on his end. You can also purchase directly through a dealer and wouldn't get charged shipping as an alternative.

We do not offer coupon codes. Keep telling the web guys to remove the option from the shopping cart but alas... Goes against our MAP policy and new distribution philosophy ultimately.
how is the install? any welding involved? or just mounting hardware that comes with it. Thank you

Install was straightforward - I took it to a shop because doing it on a lift makes it infinitely easier. Should not take much more than an hour from the time your car goes on the lift till you drive away.
