I’m kind of surprised so many people still wear such expensive watches given that it takes 2 seconds to get the time on your phone and obv everyone has a phone now. It must be a fashion symbol thing... I have hair on my wrist 😆

If I didn't go to the gym most the days, I'd probably still wear a nice watch everyday, however the thought of putting it in a bag and leaving it unattended worries me

Always has been it's a mechanical device like a car or guns. If you want you can drive a Prius but you have an m3 right? It's the craftsmanship and cool factor.

I think mainly for me I just don’t want a gigantic thing attached to my wrist. I’m a chef active all day. It would bug the hell out of me not to mention get oily as shit

I hate large watches myself. 41-44 mm is my sweet spot with the exception of my 45 mm portofino.

As for cooking with it. I get that. But a good watch will hold up to the daily abuse. And cleaning it isn't hard.
