More pictures (welcome + ambient lighting, a/w floor mats, seat cover)
Alright, so I just completed my first bit of "customization". Earlier in the day, I put a seat cover on, and I just got done installing the all-weather floor mats (BMW OEM).
Check out the really cool welcome + ambient lighting ! I've taken some pics without the flash, so as not to overshadow the welcome + ambient lighting and in order to give y'all a better idea of how it all looks at night ... very pleasing, to say the least !

Looks good, the red piping adds a nice little pop in that black interior. FYI, that rubber tab at the top of the mat is meant to be removed (if you look closely you'll see a little cutting icon on it). Just use a sharp blade and it comes right off.

Thanks, I noticed that about the red rubber taps ! I was wondering whether or not I should cut them off. I Googled the subject, and found that they had something to do with how the mats fit. Will cut.

I assumed they were there for when the mats are hung on racks at retail, as the tab has two little squares that could be cut out for a hook.

Ah, yes, that makes sense. In any case, I don't need them, and they look better without the taps, so will cut.

Carbon fiber (replica) mirror covers
It was kind of a PITA. I have sore fingers, and I was worried about damaging my mirrors. Next time, I'll have the pros put it on
Before and after pics attached.

Thanks ! By replacement piece, do you mean a replica (not OEM) ?

Next, on their way to the body shop with me (all BMW OEM parts):
Seeing that it's already after 1 pm, it's doubtful that they'll get everything done today, but at least by EOD tomorrow, it should all be done, I hope.

I am, first and foremost, a fitness junkie ... yes
I lift weights and do some cardio, 7 days a week, and come out of the gym sweating like a pig. No thanks, I don't like to parade around nude in the showers at the gym So I must drive home to shower During the 5 minute trip from my gym to my home, I don't want to soak the Dakota leather in my sweat. Hence, the seat cover
