Thank you friend. I had a TTE550 and mad about 620whp here in NZ so I upgrade to CTS Boss and hope it is an upgrade lol. I will push this turbo as far as I can if I don't get 700 I'll sell and buy speedtech. 🙂

Your going to need Stg 2 hpfp, lift kit, Stg 3 lpfp, injectors. I maxed out my hpfp and need a lift kit now.

This turbo has shown to have issues making a high amount of boost. Wastegate duty cycle is usually maxed. Hopefully you have better results.

It's a new manifold MATERIAL and not a new design. There's someone who still has issues making more than 20-22lbs of boost with this latest and greatest design that you speak of. Never heard of a new wastegate design, you're the first to mention this.

I noticed on the CTS web page they say not to run this turbo over 20 psi? Not sure if that is a recent development or not, but probably good for prospective buyers to be aware of this so their expectations are clear.

I'm not trying to be a downer about the turbo, or say people won't make good power with it, just pointing out that CTS themselves (not any tuner or other 3rd party) is saying that 20 psi is max for the turbo. That doesn't mean you can't squeeze more out of it, but the fact they're putting a 20psi max disclaimer right on their own product page speaks to what they believe the turbo's limitations are. |

Stock injector would max out 520whp E50, close 500whp full E85, Stage2 hpfp would max out close to 550whp on E40-E50. DS25 a bit higher, not much. No matter what turbo you have.
Pushing further, Liftkit+LPFP+upgraded Injectors are needed. PI/meth is different story |

Just refreshing this post
Will be introducing PI soon to this turbo build. Have had the Turbo for a year now on 23 psi with no issues. Gunna push the kit further with the PI since no one has done so yet(that I’ve seen). I’ve only been on pump gas, but will be introducing E to the car this weekend. If it blows, Speedtech is next. |
