TShoot and opasha recommended me to. I have temps and have enabled the logging feature for when I'm driving. Changing settings right from the unit, no need for cable or laptop. It's also transferable to your next if its supported by RC Free software updates and I really like the quality of the cables & waterproof/heat unit. Will have to check with chaddy74 what mods exactly the Racechip Tech team has on their 135/235 cars.

That sounds like a nice step ahead of the AFE and BMS Stage 1. When you mention that it is transferable to another vehicle, how do you know if it's transferable or not? I would assume their modules are make and series dependent (E series / F series). Lets say I have a buddy that has a 2011 F10 550i and he has the RC Ultimate, could I simply install his on my M235i and just adjust the settings to my 235i? -Nick |

Morning !! The Racechip Engineer has Wagner DP with full exhaust and Wagner Intercooler and is punching out 400HP on F1 setting !!
I was told to go straight to this setting but NO higher due to gearbox slip and engine damage Will have to check with chaddy74 what mods exactly the Racechip Tech team has on their 135/235 cars.[/QUOTE] |

Sounds like you are going for better than M2 powertrain numbers . I be happy if I can get my Dyno to turn 370 HP and 400 TQ with just my aFe Momentum intake and MPE. My car is currently leased and will be gone sometime next year, so this is stop gap measure for me until I get my next car.

Would be interesting to see their Dyno just for fun facts Quote:
374hp 395tq is the maximum RC Ultimate provides for your car heck I'll be happy with 350/350 lol I am on N20 engine since its very underpowered compared N55 I have been able to test since December C,D,E,F,0,1,2,3,4 (still on 4) on setting 4 my obdlink scan tool with dash command and torque pro has given me 314/330 and on the 2nd hard pull 321/362 I went back to F and will give it a test to see the numbers.

Ok Guys !! I installed the Racechip !! Went straight to F1 and tested out all good no codes so I went home and bumped it one more setting so Im now on 01 back out on the road all good no codes !! that will do I think for now.
Ok first impressions are very very promising , I cant do any real performance testing tonight due to cyclonic conditions and very wet roads in Brisbane Australia ... but I will say this !! Although it isnt as smooth in linear power delivery as the Manhart stage 2 it certainly the dead opposite with the Racechip solution with a Massive RUSH of raw power and torque which I like allot !! Car is blisteringly fast !! Stay tuned Guys. |

Hi guys I've got a few questions I hope some of you's could answer regarding the racechip ultimate.
Is anyone running a racechip ultimate with a EWG controlled car? I wondered if the ewg would still manage to hit the published figures. My cars currently standard and I run 99 RON fuel (equivalent to 94 US?), can I increase the settings over what the racechip comes setup as or is this only for cars with sports cats/decats and uprated intercoolers? Finally I notice people mentioning they haven't had any codes show up while increasing their settings and also data log, are you's using something like dash command and an OBD2 dongle to do this? I'm currently stuck between the racechip ultimate and a stage 2 jb4. I'm put off with the potential hassle of having to remove/refit all the jb4 connections for dealer visits if ever needed where as the racechip is much simpler in that regard. However the built in fail safes and custom map 6 appeal to me with the jb4. I'm nevering going to use meth and I may eventually upgrade to a 200cel sports cat. Cheers |

I was waiting for one post like this. I am NOT on ANY brand's payroll, I don't even live in the USA. This is not a marketing thread, this is me sharing my experience with the unit, as any other member thread sharing their mods. The same with other members that are contributing with this thread, again, sharing their experiences. I don't get why some people label threads as infomercials just because good news/experiences are shared. I hope I don't bump into any problems with my RaceChip box, if I do, I will be posting them here too, in the mean time, I say it again, I'm happy with the box, haven't had ANY problems with it, nor CEL errors. I'm here to share, not to sell. (as I think I made myself clear, please, keep this thread related to the original subject, not to deviate it from sharing the experience or from posting questions that have to do with the actual box performance/installation/functionality) |

Just waiting to hear back from RaceChip (been in discussion with them today) but it's always good to get peoples reviews and thoughts that are currently using the product. Fingers crossed the ewg cars aren't held back performance wise |
