wonder if the height now it's the same as before as the position with the new arm might not be exactly the same as before with the old clamp style.... |

Anyone with xDrive tried out these LCA's ?
The part numbers for the front wishbones (LCA's) as you call them are different on the M235i and M235xi. I don't know what the exact differences are except the part number though |

I'd be cautious about doing this mod to an xdrive as it may put additional strain on the end of the driveshaft that goes into the hub carrier. BP

did you read this from BeePee? "The m4 rod should have come with 2 bolts and 2 m6 nuts which secures both ends of the rod. Remove one of the bolts (ball shaped end) and push the ball end into the socket on the lower end of your existing rod. Insert into the bracket on drivers m3 LCA and secure with m6 nut. " You don't use the M4 rod... just take one of the ball ends and stick it into the stock rod |

I don't think there is a right or wrong way... if you like it like that and everything works great... yours probably look more like this Last edited by pikcachu; 06-10-2015 at 11:58 PM.. |

I'm also curious about using these on xdrive. If anyone does it PLEASE let us know the results as far as how it appears the axle is affected.

I would stick with your way pikca, using the bracket really stretches the wires, will prob switch it back. |

I would definitely not use these on an x drive, your changing the angle and distance by a lot, plus they were not designed with a drive axle in mind (m3/4) They will put stress on the driveline components In ways they were not designed. |

Would camber plates do the same thing?

To a lesser extent because camber plates shift the top pivot point ie strut tower.
Depending how much extra camber you go for will determine how much extra wear potential you put into front half shaft assemblies.

Pikachu did you ever see if this mod would work with the stock 17" wheels that I have? I know they work with the Kosei's that you have but if I don't have to buy wheels then that would be awesome.
