Not a fan of the aesthetic choices (too ricer for my liking) but love the power plant/mechanical upgrades

What the hell did they do?! Rip a s55 engine from a F8x and put it in a 2 series and slap some ricer body kit on it to make a better car than M2? The spoiler is extremely ricey to me.

awesome for a track car design. whip the rear spoiler off while not on track and you suddenly have a liveable outrageous daily commuter.

I wanted to say 'at least I like the colour' because I love green cars. But can't even say that.

What the shite is that steering wheel all about?!

Wow, almost no one has commented the fact that it is a 570PS S55B30 with a 6 speed manual stuffed into an M235i. A pretty awesome thing.

From ACS' website:

- the car on the pics costs €149,000 (not for sale)
- 2.54kg/PS
- 0-100 kph in 3.9 sec
- 330 kph V-max
- body & interior pieces, and wheels, are homologated and available for sale through your BMW dealership
- carbon air intake
- lightweight battery
- 400mm 6-piston CCB's up front, 380mm 4-piston rear
- ACS Downpipe
- F82 axles
- KW-sourced ACS clubsport coilovers w/ACS camber plates
- ACS carbon strut brace
- 20" rims (285/25 R20) all around¨
- 140mm wider than stock thanks to the bodykit
- carbon hood
- carbon wing, splitter, etc.
- carbon bucket seats

looks like something made for a future movie aka Demolition Man.

Not a fan of the bodykit, color, wheels.
Its has a lot of power so someone is going to like it.

I still like the Manhart.

Think it's possible to do the same kind of S55 engine swap to F30/32s in the future?

The only thing admirable about the car...is the engine. lol. Looks like it was put together with ads out of an issue of Import Tuner in 2001.

[QUOTE=Lorcan;19449292]570hp and 150kgs (330 lbs) lighter than a M2.

That's a better than 2.54 hp/kg ratio! You saw it here first.

The 570hp comes from its S55 3.0 liter engine (yes from the M3/M4)!

Since when does 570hp/1345kg = 2.54? You mean 0.4 hp/kg.

I think ACS could not have made the car any uglier - ghastly

Well, it's tacky and cheesy as hell.

But, and it's a big butt (!) it's a beast for sure, are there any 0-60 numbers out there?
And how have they bumped the S55?

this is the ugliest most riced out BMW I've seen on the forums in a long time and a complete joke. Must've been a lapse in sanity over at ACS.

While it is not a great looker (The colour I feel is the worst offender), the gray rendering makes it a bit more tolerable. I would be willing to bet in a decent colour it would not look nearly as terrible. While I am not a huge fan of the exterior looks, I suppose it is meant more of as a track car than a street use vehicle.

everyone uses HP as a replacement for the M2 or superior reason:

What about the suspension? Of all the things the M2 has praise, it wasn't the Horsepower. It was the suspension.

Why do 'tuners' think that adding a "wide-body" is the sure fire way to impress people?

FFS, I'd be happy to see a bone stock M2 over what 90% of these tuners are putting out.

There's absolutely nothing appealing about this car, aside from the S55 swap.
