1. 1994 Ford Taurus SHO 5MT
2. 1990 Acura Integra LS 5MT 3. 1994 Ford Probe GT 5MT 4. 1993 Acura Integra GSR (Stolen) 5. 2000 BMW 323i Premium 5MT 6. 2015 BMW M235i M-Sport 6MT The M235i is by far my favorite! I'd definitely still have GSR if it hadn't been stolen though. I bought it from the 2nd owner (parents gave it to him) with 376K miles. It didn't burn oil, the AC still worked, and VTEC screamed from 5000rpm to the 8300rpm fuel cutoff. It was a blast to drive! |

Of course, possibly the most rewarding thing would be to simply keep it for yourself, which it sounds like what you may be planning.

Since 2004...
1. 2001 Nissan Xterra (hand-me-down high school car) 2. 2005 Chevy Equinox (hand-me-down college car) 3. 2012 Kia Optima (1st car after graduating and getting a good corporate job) 4. 2007 Porsche Carrera S (1st sports car as a reward to myself) 5. 2016 Subaru WRX (What I bought after having a child and selling the Porsche) 6. 2012 Volvo XC70 (stop-gap DD after moving into a new home and selling the WRX) 7. 2018 BMW M240i (fun car for weekend cruising and track days) 8. 2019 Nissan Armada (replaced Volvo as DD and tow vehicle for the M240i) It has been a fun journey, but I'm planning to hold on to #7 and #8 for as long as humanly possible. Hoping to add #9 in a few years - either a 911 GT3, Cayman GT4, or next-gen M2 Competition/CS/CSL. It will have an automatic transmission more than likely since the M240i is a 6-speed. No other car plans beyond that.

As I have now built from the ground up 2 E36 track cars, I have all the tools and experience to work on these cars. I plan on doing a full OEM restore/refresh of the suspension and major components when the time is right. Either way, the maintenance is up to date and done on schedule. Glad my mom loves this car so much. |

Funny you mention that. It was a ported AEB cylinder head with +1mm OS valves, and a lumpy turbo cam. The bottom end was a built 2.0L ABA engine out of a pre 98 Golf. It was a lot of fun, stupid fast, when the clutch held up! lol
