I have a bmw e60 2010. How have you connected audio of the smart view to the arm rest aux.?
Is it necessary to connect it to arm rest audio to get audio from smart view? I want to do it in a concealed manner without a wire running through the smart view to the arm rest in the car. Any idea how to do it so that the wire remains hidden? or better not to connect it to arm rest aux. but some other cable so that it doesn't need to run at all fro one point to the other? |

Thanks for this thread !
I got my unit but I am having some issues with the install. The piggyback harness that provides power to the multimedia box has two green plugs in the female receptor that prevent me from plugging it into the back of the OEM unit. Are these supposed to be manually removed before installation? Another thing, I have factory navigation when I remove the trim and the climate-radio control there is no space to put the multimedia unit...I have np idea where I can put it..may be on top of the glove box ? |

Actually I thought theses were clips that needed to be removed since I was working without instructions but bimmertech sent it to me.
Bluetooth audio doesn't work after mirroring is enabled unless you play around with the settings on the phone ( samsung s6 ). I would be okay with audio over miracast but the quality is pretty poor compared to bluetooth |

whoa, 20% off? That would make a huge difference in my purchasing decision, on whether I would buy this unit or forgo without it for at least another year...

Anyway, yeah, if you could keep me posted. I'm definitely interested and would be happy to buy something that won't cost me an arm and a leg... Cheers! |

I have ADD or something. I get tired of cars quickly haha. I was thinking of moving up to an M4 or going back to a GTR. The M235i is an amazing car but it lost its charm with me. I need to re-ignite that awesome feeling you get when you look back and see the car after parking it.
