I am fbo with meth and usually run an e35-e40 mix. Right now i have a jb4 which is great because if i am low on meth i can switch to map 2, If i dont have time to go to my e85 gas station, then i can lower my methanol settings to account for lower octane. It is very versatile and allows me to change maps on the fly. To accomplish a similar setup with bm3 i would go with an ots 93 map, a 93 and methanol map, and a 93, methanol and e35 map. My question is, how fussy is a ethanol mixture map. For me it is not an exact science as i have to estmate the amount of fuel left in the tank when gilling up. Sometimes i may end up with e32 and sometimes e40. I am usually pretty consistent around e35, but there is definitely some guess work. |

with the amount of e85 our cars can run, a few gallons only, you dont really need a dedicated map.
Our DME's adapt to the fuel mixture after a few miles.

I stored 5.3gals of tested E88 consistency/content back in November in my non-weather controlled temperature in Central NJ moved 2 months later to a weather-controlled garage and opened it and tested it on March and tested at E85% so not much to worry if you have stored it in the dark.
