I waited at the port for 5 days. I found out yesterday that my car is on the Themis Leader. Unfortunately it's being shipped to California, which doesn't make a lot of sense to me given that my car is being delivered to Colorado.

I'm also at the port. I have only been there since Monday I believe as my full production ended that day but I was really done with the main production on September 10.
I am hoping to be on the next boat coming to NY. I am set for the first week of October delivery still. |

Just called the 800 number again to verify this lady told me my car is still at the port and to try back next week for more info. So I've decided no one has any clue what they're talking about at BMW

Finally a bit of relief. Flew through production, finished 9/3, then sat at the port for what felt like an eternity. Now the automated phone message has finally changed to "in transit," and the dealer says it'll hit a stateside port about 9/30. No idea what boat it's on or what port it'll come in through.
Going on vacation for a week, hoping for good news when I get back. |

I'm on a boat as well heading across the Atlantic (not sure which one yet but it's en route)
Only problem is that after waiting 5 months for the car to come in I had to go and tear my left Achilles' tendon last week. That means once my car gets here in the next 2 weeks and I take delivery I've got to stare at it in my garage without driving for at least another 3-4 months. FML - should've gotten the automatic |

Awesome. Any idea what port yours is getting off at/what city is it being delivered to? Looks like Columbia Highway already hit Baltimore and is at Charelston now. Mine is coming to Ohio so I'm not too sure where it would hop off the ship.

Anyways my CA is actually going to drive the car to my house while I ride shotgun after I take delivery. I have a feeling that's going to be the biggest tease imaginable |

How do you guys know the production week? Just called the 800 number and my car is now under production with an end of production estimated for October 7. Does that make it week 39 or 40?

Mine was week 39 and production completed 9/26. I called the 800 # and it's in 'waiting to be released to carrier'. I think Oct 7 would be week 41.

I feel like I won a mini lottery. My ship, Boheme, was estimated to arrive in California on 10/4 but it lost a day at see leaving Baltimore. Both the shipping schedule and BMW's website says it would arrive on 10/5 but the tracking site says my car was released on 10/2! My CA emailed me the car would be ready for pickup 10/7 or 10/8. To think I am only a few days away from delivery is insane.

My car is currently on the Toronto and ships to NY/NJ tomorrow the 7th. For some reason my CA told me Jersey but all the websites I'm tracking it from tell me it's coming into NY. Either way it'll be on land tomorrow and I hopefully will take possession of it fairly soon once it goes through customs and hits the dealership. |
