What are you reading boost with? Do you have logs I can look at? I am hitting 15 psi on map 1

I'm working on getting proper logs. I'll post them once I've got them

I logged using the jb4 app and got 10.5, in Torque Pro I've seen as much as 12. Not proper pull-to-redline tests though.

Well the jb4 app should be the same as the logs I am reading of my car. I am seeing 15 psi from 4300 to 5300 rpm in 4th and about 4600 to 5000 rpm in 3rd gear

These are also wot runs from 2000 rpm to 7000rpm. You don't have to take it up that high I just wanted to see what was going on up there lol

EDIT: I also forgot to ask, if you can't post logs can you just tell me what the avg ign value is?

Inktomi,

If using a smartphone app Connected to a dongle into the OBD port then you may be reading DME boost as opposed to actual boost ie DME & JB4.

In maps 0 & 4 ie without jb4 I'm seeing stock boost levels of 9-10 psi in 1st and 2nd gear then 11psi from 3rd gear upwards.

As mentioned above, seeing 15psi on new map 1 and on my custom map 6 I see 16-16.5 psi.

Not done any logging of map 5 yet.

New map 1 is much stronger than old map 1 and even map 2 !

That's a very good point. I wonder what value Torque pro actually gets..

On my drive back to Vegas tomorrow evening I'm planning on taking a detour from I-15 near Yermo to do some testing. There's a long road that parallels the highway for many miles, and should be a great place to get some runs for data where there's no one around.

I'll post them here, as well as in my thread at n54tech support. There's some question over there as to whether or not I have a boost leak - though I do doubt that I do as I've checked the system and everything is tight and looks good. Certainly not a leak that could be leaking multiple PSI (I think). Hopefully I'll be able to get good clean logs tomorrow in map 1 and we'll know for sure what's up.

I've been driving around map 1 all week, so by now it should have adjusted itself to whatever level it is going to I'd think.

Here's my log from my runs back from LA to Vegas tonight. Several pulls included. I seem to peak very close to 15, so maybe we're good.

FF is at 140 and PWM is all stuck at zero, which seems weird to me. Doesn't that mean my wastegate is 100% open all the time? If it was, wouldn't boost fluctuate lock step with throttle?

100 octane fuel makes quite a difference. No more lack of boost - seeing 16.5 PSI now!

This is on a basically stock 235 - only thing aftermarket is the chargepipe. New map 1, 100 octane fuel (no E85).
