My automated message changed yesterday or today to "car is being transported to port of exit".
Hoping I'll be at the port in time (might already be there knowing the automated messages are lagging) to catch the Carmen leaving on the July 1st! |

Thanks patbrass......I just called and the recording said production is completed and it is being released to the carrier. My estimated production completion date was the 27th. Does not really matter for me how fast it gets here...The first available PCD apt for me was Aug 21st
Now the question is...when do we get a vin number? Last edited by horsepower_and_hounds; 06-29-2014 at 08:08 PM.. |

Well I changed to "released to a carrier and awaiting transportation to a port of exit" so I hope to be loaded onto the Don Juan that leaves tomorrow. fingers crossed.
Vessel: DON JUAN: BREMERHAVEN GERMANY 30/06/2014 01/07/2014 BRUNSWICK, GA U.S.A. 21/07/2014 21/07/2014 the next boat was pushed out a day and now leaves on the 6th with an ETA of July 23rd. Vessel: INTEGRITY BREMERHAVEN GERMANY 05/07/2014 06/07/2014 BRUNSWICK, GA U.S.A. 23/07/2014 23/07/2014 I dont know how long it takes from being received at port until its ready at the dealership, I imagine some dealers are quicker than others. also - being so close to the end of the month, is it possible for a dealer to deliberately push this out until the following month to benefit their quotas? |

soghetto, in my case, my car completed production on 6/26 and the rough sequence of automated messages was:
- 6/26: assembly completed - 6/27: released to distribution (or something like that) - 6/28: awaiting transport to port of exit (probably means sitting at Munich factory) - 6/29, 6/30: being transported to port of exit - 7/1: waiting for vessel at the port of exit So, I hate to say but it looks unlikely your car will be on a boat that leaves tomorrow. However, we all know the automated messages are lagging by sometimes a few days so who knows?! |

Don't forget to also check the k-line schedule: http://www.kline.com/KAMCarCarrier/S...g_Schedule.XLS
It looks like the Georgia Highway is scheduled to leave on the 3rd. You have decent chances to be on this one too. |

Production completed on mine 6/26 also and today's automated message states "released to a carrier and awaiting transportation to a port of exit".
I would assume it will be grouped with the rest that were completed on 6/26 and headed to the east coast |
