Yeah sure of course, I’m not too sure if this will work for you as it’s a UK link but I’ll send it to you anyway so you know which one it is as I’m sure it’s available for the US as well, but I got them from Amazon.

Since I was working on it until 2 am I guess my hpfp counts. (Even though my car still runs terrible)

Washed it in the dark last night...

Doubled up merino and latex gloves for a nice cold hand wash.

Saw a nice F87 M2 comp this morning at a Ford dealership and made me realize how much I don't need a M2 comp.

I've been trying to sell off parts from my previous M240i. Sold my stock wheels last week to someone local. Now trying to unload a TU fuel pump, downpipe and chargepipe. Getting some cash back in return on these items is oddly satisfying.

I officially got an allocation for a new M2 and the car goes into production December 18th. Went with the same color scheme as my M240i, black sapphire metallic, black wheels, blue calipers, and black interior. I guess I have a type. I should be able to pick it up sometime between late February and early March. Now to decide if I should get winter tires to finish the balance of this MN winter season or hold off until next winter, and just limit driving to fair conditions until the spring warmup. Definitely going with true winter tires vs the all seasons I had on my previous car to provide a little more confidence on the winter roads.

Needed to buy two new rear tires on our 240ix because one was punctured by a car key, the ENTIRE key. Only one corner of the key that you’d hold onto was exposed

Congrats on the M2 J, how exciting!

I installed the FTP charge pipe today, another step in the plan lol
Also my wife got me some CF paddle shifters for Christmas off Amazon off all places.
They seem decent quality and fit great, dry carbon look to match the interior.

Thought I'd share

Couldn't find any alcantara/Suede trim pieces that didn't have some sort of stitching so i created my own. Did the center piece and vents.

Looks good, can you do the trim around the shifter too?
I think that would be a nice complement

I don't technically own a 2 series right now but if things go well with transport I should have my new M2 next week. In preparation for delivery I ordered some BMW all weather floor mats and a set of Continental extreme contact all season tires. I wanted to get some proper snow tires but options are extremely limited and expensive in stock sizes (planning to swap tires on and off the stock wheels seasonally).

Given the high cost of swapping out tires twice a year (including recalibrating the TPMS system), I wonder if it might not be more cost-efficient in the long run to get a devoted set of rims for the snows. That might also allow for a smaller rim for the snows, usually better in winter.
And congrats on the new car!

This is the answer for JMcLellan - removing/replacing tires, even with the best tire shop, can result in damage to the tire bead and/or wheel.
