Same here... Would be a new record if it was the temperature at the airport.

It was beautiful today. 79 and sunny, low humidity.

So very close to ideal. I'd go with 75, but still.
It's the low humidity part that I'll never stop desiring, and I've lived for extended periods in both extremes and in those in-between.

Sunny, 68 at the beach.
Yesterday when I checked at home, in the shade, at 4:30pm it was 79. Expecting increases of a few degrees each next 2 days, then rain/cold on Saturday. Great, I'll never get this furniture refinishing done.

It's raining here most of the week and doing a pretty good job reducing the amount of pollen in the air. We're expecting 1.25" over the next 24 hours.

That was one for the books. Surprised I didn’t flood out my suv today. Turn around don’t drown doesn’t apply to moms trying to get to their babies.
I think the news said we got 9” ?? Definitely do not recommend living here. |

Well power was restored midmorning yesterday. An att tech finally arrived this afternoon and had to replace their gateway, apparently due to the surge. I'm also experiencing some other odd little electrical gremlins.

Rain, lots of rain!
Started to expand and build out phase 3 of our deck (19ft x 8ft) this past weekend and dug the footers and poured the concrete. Rest of the wood for it showed up at 7am this morning from Home Depot. I was not about to rent their truck and move over 50 pieces of 10ft long board by myself. So I bit the bullet and paid the delivery fee and I am happy that I did! Hopefully the rain stops today and dries out a little bit so I can put the remaining joists in and start laying down deck boards. I swear, this is the biggest deck in the world! lol

Glad to hear you don't have extensive damage. We faired pretty well down here. Only hiccup was I picked up a screw on the way home. Already fixed and on my way. Could have been a lot worse. In hindsight I shouldn't have driven through all those flooded roads and through all the debris. At one point I was driving up the grass through the shoulder to try and access the exit ramps that were completely submerged. You can't reason with a mom trying to get her baby. Through hell or high water

We made it to 16.1°C but the ride was a bit cool without the sun.

It's been just about perfect: 84° now and the same yesterday, both with 40% humidity.
Normal temps this week are mid-40s low and mid-60s high, but spring time is quite variable here.

It peaked here at 78 F, with sun and brisk winds. More like June than April. It was fscking hot at work today, because the building's chiller is still off for the winter. I've got the windows open and ceiling fans cranked at home this evening, and am half-tempted to fire up the central AC to make sure that it still works after sitting idle all winter.....

Stormy weather is returning. Temps are up and humidity levels are very high. So I'm running dehumidifiers, as well as the A/C to keep indoor humidity at levels that avoid mold growth.

We were fortunate that the strong storms forecasted for earlier this week never materialize. Just had light to moderate rain. Early morning Temps were a bit cooler, but humidity level is still quite high. Weekend and next weekends forecast aren't very promising.
