I've rolled my front fenders. The fender liner is well away from the lip on the F22, you don't need to cut anything to accomplish what I've done. I've completely flattened the inner lip from just behind the centerline forward to the bumper cover. I did not change the fender profile.
Awesome, good to know about the liner

He's running 18x9.5 et35 -3 degrees of camber up front.
18x9.5 et58 -2deg of camber in the rear.

Since the blog post he's gone down to 255's all around.

So a concave wheel profile up front and a flat faced set up in the rear.

I'm 100% sold on the M2 btw guys, its so awesome in person.

So you could do 18x9.5 et58 all around with spacers so you can rotate your wheels when needed. I'm assuming he has a front fender roll. Doesn't look like he pulled the fenders though

Saw your IG with the m2

Sure, I found it kinda odd at least from my POV that he would run a concave wheel up front and a flat profile wheel in the rear.

To the functional over everything guys I'm sure this wouldn't matter but it would drive me insane. I've run OZ's, AG's, HRE's I really wanted to move onto a wheel with a bit more concavity/aggressiveness to them. Looks like it's not gonna happen though.

I'm at a cross roads, I can't do what I want so I'm ready to give up and move on. Pull the wrap/CF and drive around as stock looking as possible and look into either picking up an M2 or M3 comp.

The M2 with just a DP sounds and looks amazing as is.

yeap, the hub faces on the M235i are just too close to the body to get any concavity

Not sure if these have been posted but they look great and are forged. I personally can't justify the cost though.

Sportline appears to have a wheel with good concavity that uses 235 friendly offsets. My plan is to go with a stagger setup from them and once I go coilovers w/camber plates to swap out the fronts to make it square. I'm currently on just springs as stop gap while I do other things to the car (only had a the car a few months).

Should have the wheels by the end of the month. I'll probably post up once done.

What is it that you want to do with the 235 that you can't??

I just don't think the m2 is different enough to justify it over a 235 (if you already own a 235). Especially if the focus isn't track duty.

The 18x9 +42 appears to be the only option for that wheel if you want square.

To be honest I'm not bent of running a square set more so than having a concave wheel. That's my issue , I've basically done just about everything that can be done to my own personal liking.

You sound like me. I go through cars too quickly.

Get a new car, dump money on it, track it, get bored, get new car...

Usually the process takes 1-2 years

I really plan on keeping this car for the long haul though! I hope..

Other than my s2000 this is probably the most fun car I've had. Just need to get the suspension setup done to my spec.

Don't get me wrong, its a great car but I really have the urge to get back into an ///M.

Something that might help the people wondering about wheel sizes, as I was responding to a thread above I realized/remembered that I ran 18/8.5 et35 square set up on some OZ rims last year, at first on HR springs alone, and then with some Hotchkis front/rear sways. I had ZERO issues with this set up, in fact it was the best setup I had in terms of performance. Going from stock rims to these was a huge noticeable difference.

Still thinking of the M2? I just don't see it as a big enough upgrade if you already own the 235 (even more so with the new m240 coming this summer). Buying these types of cars isn't something decided on with "logic" though so I can see why someone would go that route

What tire size did you run? 255? That's the original wheel sizes I wanted to run for a square setup on the car.

I think the OZ wheels looked better than the HREs you had
