With the US Mills Works plate in that position does it trigers the sensor? I also have one but have the plate higher and towards the center to clear the sensors. If your posotion doesn't trigger the sensors can you take a picture of the back to see in what position is your plate mounted?

I usually have to tweak it every so often, but it seems to be pretty good for now. I am in the top right-most position...just ensure you have screws in each corner to secure the plate fully.
