Official MELBOURNE RED 2 Series Coupe/Convertible Thread
In november, the day after the config. came available with my dealer, I ordered my 220i M-Sport After a more than 4 (long) months wait, on March 14, he was delivered!!!
Now after driving it for over a month, every day I fall a little more in love with the little fellow |

This time, I bring you (possibly) the first set of H&R Sport Springs installed on the M235i in the states! It's been a long wait since I ordered them, but the drop is just perfect IMO. Not too aggressive, but just enough to look lowered.
The experts at European Auto Source didn't seem to have any issues installing the springs, so it looks to be a straightforward install (having the right tools and knowledgeable people helps). I was in and out in a couple hours. I didn't notice any difference with the ride quality on the drive home (which consists of smooth to very rough/bumpy surfaces at low and highway speeds), so that's a plus! But enough words, I'll let the photos do the talking! The springs: Before (side view): After (side view): Before (front wheel): After (front wheel): Before (rear wheel): After (rear wheel): More after photos: After setting in a tiny bit: |

I picked up my Melbourne Red M235i over the weekend.
Quick note, thanks to everyone on Bimmerpost for all the information. I couldn't post earlier because my account had to be approved, but I definitely spent a lot of time looking at forums for various answers. Big thanks. I plan on posting a review on Oppositelock later this week / next week. Uploading photos wasn't working well, so you'll have to check this link. http://ckfraser.tumblr.com/post/9444...e-red-metallic |

I love this shade of red! Maybe my next BMW will be red if they still have the Melbourne Red color! I was not tired of white yet so I stayed with white. Very beautiful BMW!

If I recall correctly, both AWs were not dropped (the one with the VMR wheels is definitely not lowered). Only the red one is on H&R springs (which is about a 1" drop). |

I have seen cars with the side lips and then a full lip...didn't know which were BMW. They must have spacers on the wheels then pushing them out and closing the wheel well gap

My car (the red one) has spacers and I believe the one with stock wheels as well. The other white M235i does not have spacers.

You wouldn't happen to know what thickness the AW with stock wheels is using? They have to be at least 12's .... maybe 15's. That is the look I want..... The stance on your ride is choice |

Sorry, I didn't get those details from the owner. You can try contacting the guys at European Auto Source and see if anyone remembers since the owner bought the spacers from them.
