How much would the seats cost, if you do not mind my asking? I have a M235xi convertible with heated+memory seats and would like to consider the swap as well. Probably not something the dealer would want to do but I know a shop that might take on the job. Would I retain full functionality after the swap? Is the rear space significantly affected? The convertible rear seats are already tight so not sure how much more limited space might be after the swap. |

yes you will keep all electrical functions as your original front seats, the rear space is like the original ones. to the rear there is only the record of the M3. the seat back is original. I bought the complete interior (2700€) on ebay.uk |

Were the seats plug/play for bolting in?
Did you have to do any coding? Did you have to do any wire/harness modifications? For the rear seats, did the seat bottom, seat back, and side bolsters just drop right in without any modifications? The M3 is significantly wider than the 2'ers. Thanks! |

hello No need to change to fix the front seats. must be coded only to activate the heated seats otherwise the rest will work without coding. I have set up the rear M3 record the rest is not possible. |

That looks amazing! I have an M2 going through VPC right now, and I see some black leather m4 seats for sale on ebay... Might have to copy your idea! If my car already has heated seats, do I need to code it still?
