Nice looking seats, can't wait to see the rest of the mods!! Can you post the offset on your 19" wheels? Seems to be difficult to find wheels that will fit the M235i. Thanks.

I got them as a sample piece from manhart performance, so I got another price,
but they are > 3000€ when you get them new with these options. they def cost more than the e-series bmw performance seats.

Ok thanks.
I can get the BMW ones for a reasonable price. Are they a straight fit you think, since the seat is basically the same. What about the airbag connectors for instance? |

the connectors are different but you can get a kit to adapt them, or you can customize them.
the airbags need to be coded. I don`t know the english term for "sitzbelegungsmatte" but you need to get the passenger side airbags coded to explode in case of an accident, because the recaros can`t tell if you got a passenger next to you.

thank you!
the ride got its wheels, exhaust, grilles and suspension yesterday, won its first trophy today at a meet with 570 bmws (it was a hard competition in the 2 series segment lol), I got many pics and tomorrow I`ll take some pics of the interior with my dslr and then i`ll start a build-thread!

228i Seat Upgrade-Mechanical to Electric
Nice job on your sport seats. You may be the one who understands my issue and can provide guidance.
I upgraded my 228i mechanical seats (heated) to electric seats (memory w/o lumbar) from a 220d. Now, I must align the wiring/pins of the male f connector (in vehicle) to the wiring/pins of the female f connector (under seats). Do you know where I can find a visual that identifies the wiring/pins of each, so I can re-key/re-align the male wiring/pins with the female f connector wiring/pins. Thanks, Flyboyflash |
