Correct. The muffler gets attached to your stock piping which you cut. You'll need to purchase the clamp to attach it for
BMW. I don't have clips but if YouTube there's tons. |

You have to cut the muffler off the stock exhaust. I don't remember my exact part number. It's off of my 2016 m235 x drive model. The clamp hooks the new muffler up to the exhaust. I had to use to put my stock exhaust back on. I am including the muffler and the CF Tips for 750 plus shipping costs. I'm sure there is a way to get the clamp part number from BMW or reputable shop or looking through the forums. Seems common practice.
