I looked at a few others on ebay as well, all of them are cheaper looking CF covers. Not sure they would stand up to a close inspection. Will keep on looking. Has anyone compared some ebay v. MP side by side in person? |

Since I plan on getting the CF spoiler though, having them match will be important to me. That and not fading over time in the sun/weather. |

$30 in CF vinyl and wrap the suckers. Just pop the covers off and its an easy wrap job. Matches my roof too!

As of my mineral gray 220 I painted them to match the wheels (silver), maybe a sin for most in the forum and doubtfull at the begining, but Now they are growing on me. |

DO NOT BUY from seller tuningstore1949 or owolf_carbon Both do not fit properly and are not good quality. I was at least able to get my money back from owolf_carbon but tuningstore1949 is giving me the run around and won't refund my money. Here are the links for the ones I tried to buy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/141368025173...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.com/itm/221552486648...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

Has anyone tried simply wrapping the mirror covers? I was thinking of using vinyl to simulate the sportline trim of the 228i - gloss black mirrors and interior dash with the red strip all vinyl. I figure it'll help change the look inside and out while keeping costs to a minimum. I appreciate adding in aesthetics, but not in spending close to a grand for dash trim pieces and mirror covers on a leased vehicle, when that money can be used for better parts.
