Bumping up this old thread of mine in hope someone has:
- either found a way to code the gong back in - or got it back with same latest general software update in his/her car Anyone, please? I still really miss that gong, doing rather long trips I often change my seat configuration (a message ersatz, I guess )...TIA Piotr

Go into the dealership and check a new one. It will have the latest SW installed and if it beeps make them fix yours. In my previous car an A5, I had tons of issues after they did a SW upgrade on it. Lost engine power, indications, all sorts of things that after a bit of yelling they restored. Remember these guys trust the SW implicitly and think it is flawless but anything as small as a power bump while they are doing the upgrade can impact the accuracy of the load.
