Hatch?
Personally I like it, and I'd love to see an M235i AWD hatch version, not likely though.

Nope, I'd like to see a 2 series hatch. Although if the M135i were available in the US I'd buy one in a minute.

What my ideal 228i Msport would look like:

I wouldn't get rid of my M3 for an M235i. Only add.

From the German price list ( thanks for posting it! ) I can see that the optional 19s have the same width of both the wheels and tires as the standard 18s. I.e only 245s for the rear. Hmmm...that's not what I'd hoped for. You can of course get wider after market wheels I'm just afraid 8J and 245 might be all it can take before rubbing. I hope not, since I think this car needs 265s to look the best. The 1M's 10J with 265s would look awesome on the M235i just as they do on the 1M.

M235 looks like a perfect replacement for the E46 version 330is. Size and weight are comparable but this car is so much faster! 4.8s 0-60! Will definitely have me thinking about how long to hold on to my 328i.

Love it. BMW has been coming up with some fresh designs recently on its compact sportier models. Interior is a big step up

•M Performance Sports Suspension - 20mm lowering, bespoke shock absorbers and shorter red painted coil springs, available from launch Is that 20mm lower than the base 2-series or 20mm lower than the M adaptive suspension of the M235i? And is the M adaptive suspension 10mm lower than the base cars or is it the same height as the base car? Edit: It seems that the M adapative of the M235i is 10mm lower than the base so you are probably right that the M performance suspension is 10m lower than the "standard" suspension of the M235i and 20mm lower than the base car. |
