If you open the German link up, you can see the wheel, but the pic is tiny--I tried cutting and pasting into one of my replies on here, but no luck--they are really small though.
The details came from translating the descriptions...

It will be an interesting change for me--I typically leave the option sheet mostly blank--all of my BMWs have had no more than heated seats and the premium package (for the dimming mirrors), in an effort to keep the price down. If you can fold the screen down, like my pops can in his Z4MC, then I won't notice too much...if you can't, well that will be interesting...

I'm going different way. My M3 is loaded, but if I were to get a 2er (M2 included), all I'd want would be heated seats, xenons and H/K

Also, with a longer production run, more people will actually be able to plan for the car and get it at a time that makes sense for their respective situations. Doesn't seem too hard for me...

Are the Xenons going to be standard on the 228i? They were standard on my first E92 328i...different models I know, but you think that would be included for 33K... I am also bummed there's no LED lights on the M235... EDIT--I would love to see the M235 in black--that looks to be the sport line above, yes?

Looks great, so much better than any E8x series.
M2 is going to be soooo killer. Why would anyone buy a 4er after seeing the M235i? I can guarantee you that the 2er would be more fun to drive. |

I didn't read all 17 pages of posts, so apologies if already discussed. Why would they call it a M235i but call the 4 series a 435i? To me that would indicate that a M2 is unlikely.

Oh man... BMW TAKE ALL MY MONIES! This is the car I have been hoping they would make it out to be.
I am ready to dump my barely one year old F30 for this. She might end up on lease trader soon lol

i didn't read the last 17 pages but everything is an M now. M sells cars because it's exclusive feeling. soon M will mean nothing to me.

The M235i is the successor to the 135is and follows BMW's new naming of convention of appending an "M" in front of any model that had an "s" at the end of its name previously. The 435i replaces the 335i coupe, not the 335is coupe. If BMW decides to succeed the 335is with an F32 in the future, then that will be called an M435i. There were both a 135is and a 1M in the E82 generation as well as a 335is and an M3 in the E92 generation. The existence of the M235i and the lack of an M435i doesn't necessarily mean that an M2 is unlikely. That all said, it will be very interesting to see what engine BMW goes with if they do decide to make an M2, as the M235i seems to sit in the sweet spot of being plenty powerful, but far enough away from the M3 and M4 as to create meaningful market separation.

This car is so great looking. I want one but i also want to hold out for the M2. I can only imagine wide fenders and an even more aggressive body.
