Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. But on the bright side you get to be one of the first to drive the M240i. Yeah, I'd say at least push for 7.5% off MSRP. Too bad the cost of the base M240i will cost $500 more, plus each package is about 300-400 more each which adds up to being about another $1000-1500 depending on what you add. Also not to mention the Lease/Finance rates are all inflated again! Unless you've got a bulk of cash ready to do a cash purchase....

you should be getting at least 5% regardless... i would expect you'd be getting that or more off the m235i.

4 Months for me..however I was part of the delay in Halifax in the spring. Not trying to scare anyone that is waiting; just giving information.

I've been told that dealers have around 8% markup in Canada, is that true?

I'll soon be in the market for an M240i, how much % off can I reasonably expect/ask for?

Just found out that my car left Bremerhaven on the 24th and is due to arrive at Halifax on the 4th!

Watching the little blip move slowly across a map is worse than any loading screen

Hey new here. I just ordered a 228i confirmed on June 18th. Dealer said 1.5months. Am I being too optimistic? Haha

I don't know... I've heard varying times from 5 weeks to 5 months, personally I'm closing in on 4 months. One reason I was given, "special order" which could only mean RWD 6MT but who knows

FYI, I ordered my M235i RWD 6MT May 9th, production date was June 15th, now just waiting for it to be shipped to my dealer but I've been told an attempt for end of July delivery for me since the beginning. Seems like it will be that way, so maybe around 3 months time from start to end.

8-9%, you can expect anywhere from 5-6.5% off depending on timing and dealership.

If you ordered the 2017 batch, I don't see there being any delay. It was just those who ordered the last of the 2016 rwds

mines also the last of 2016. Junes the last month for the 2016 228i, july is production for 2017 230i.

could be a few days, could be a few weeks, backlog in Halifax is probably cleared by now though.

Have you heard from your dealer about your car arriving to the dealership yet? Maybe giving them a quick call and get an update. Or.... option 2 is to go take a visit at your dealership and just look around to see if anything is in the lot that looks like the car you ordered! lol...

I emailed my SA on Wednesday asking about the status of the car. He said it'll be another 2-3 weeks depending on when it gets on the train and when it can get on a truck from Montreal. He told me he emailed BMW Canada to see if they can do a rush delivery for me. I'll check back with him again on Monday to see if there's any updates.

My 2 is currently on its way from Halifax - should arrive in about a week! Any updates on yours?

For what it's worth, mine landed in Halifax July 13th. However my vehicle was discharged from WWL on July 14th and "Delivered from" on July 15th. I'm not sure what that means when their status says Delivered From? Anyway, my dealer advised it should arrive around 10-14 days ... If all goes smoothly, it will arrive in Toronto by Fri July 29th or maybe it means I can pick it up (here's for hoping) from my dealer by Fri July 29th? haha...

kaayyy and I are literally on the same boat.

Order placed May 30
Production begin June 16
On the boat June 24
In Halifax July 4
Released to CN the same day (not sure when it got on the train)
Arrived at Montreal railhead July 11
Scheduled Hansen's Transport pickup July 12 (Actual pick up July 15)
Arrived at dealership July 15
Ready for pick up July 19
