Hi all.

i have a 66 plate 2 series active tourer.

The roof has no rails installed, but i need to sort out a roof box for our upcoming holiday.

I've tried searching google but i just cant find out what i need to do to get rails installed. is it only a dealer option?

for some reason in my head id be able to jump on ebay, buy some and fit them myself....obviously im wrong as i cant see any on ebay for sale. (unless im just searching for the wrong thing).

My next door neighbour has some thule bars and a couple of kits, but im not sure i can use these either.

My car roof has the covers on either side where rails presumably could be fitted.

Can anyone guide me in what options i have, in mind that i go on holiday in 3 weeks so need something sorted soon.
