B46/B48 Oil Filter Housing Coolant Leak Pictures/Confirmation
Hi all,
Working on diagnosing a friend's son's coolant leak. Leak seems to be the oil filter housing? It's being absorbed in the pieces of foam below the assembly, leaks onto the left engine mount, etc. I don't believe there is anything else in that area. Nothing above the housing flange from what I can tell...pictures incoming! Second pic is looking down on the side of the oil pan, coolant pools in that circular opening. I pulled out a lot of the soaked foam, but it sits below the metal box-shaped part of the oil housing assembly.

It looks like seals #5 and #6 are the culprits. |
